The day was very cool and breezy. One just like Xegony would like, you think to yourself as you Yajuu, Druzzil Ro and Brell make your way toward the mountain.

"You think she'll be in her cave?" Druzzil asks.

"Isn't she always?" you ask.

"I suppose, but you know how she is. She might head out flying or...or anything." Brell comments.

"Ahoy down there!" you hear a voice from above and blink as Quellious lands in front of you.

"Quellious!" Yajuu exclaims and hugs the small Chesmu. "It's so good to see you! Where's Xeg?"

"Right above you..." you hear Xegony say as she begins her decent. Xegony lands a few yards in front of you. "Well hello there 'little' niece. You're not so little anymore, hm?" she says cocking her head one way as if to examine Druzzil Ro. Druzzil giggles.

"We were hoping you'd want to come with us." Yajuu says after hugging Xegony.

"Come with you? Where?"

"Well, It's now time for Druzzil Ro to apply for a Breath Weapon." You say smiling.

"Ah yes, I'd forgotten." Xegony says.

"And she also wants to apply for a mate...and we were thinking that ...well you know you never did...so..."

"Hey that's right!" Quellious chirps. "You never did apply for a mate!" she says to Xegony.

"...Must've slipped my mind...but now that you mention it. It probably would be nice to have one."

"Yes! Someone a bit bigger than me to be your voice of reason." Quellious says accusingly to Xegony. Xegony has the decency to look sheepish.

"So is it ok?" Druzzil asks. "Can we apply together?"

"Sure. Good thinking there Druzzil, I probably never would have noticed till I would've gotten so old and set in my ways no one would've wanted me!"

"You? Set in your ways? Nah!" You say jokingly.

"Hmph." Xegony says pretending to be annoyed, while Druzzil Giggles. "Well come on," Xegony says "we're burning daylight." Brell cracks up at Xegony's use of Yajuu's saying.

"I agree." Yajuu says turning to lead the way with a wry smile.
